Kedleston is one of a suite of wonderful ancient tree sites in the east Midlands with a couple of stunning ancient ash trees, which hopefully don’t fall prey to ash dieback. There are great walking trees, lapsed oak pollards and some interesting air and bird trees to be found around the estate, not to mention a very rich deadwood habitat.
