The ‘Old’ churchyard is not where you might think it is and not associated with the building that has now become the village hall. Its along the road to the north east – and just to the south of Bickenhall Wood (Forestry Commission) which shows on most maps

I visited this churchyard a year ago, and there was no ancient yew anywhere to be seen. Yes, lovely wild flowers and some young yews.
